Camps

Nethy Bridge - July 2007

The first summer camp this year was held at Nethy Bridge near Aviemore. This was a week full of fun and adventure with around 80 cadets from different squadrons taking part in numerous outdoor activities.

RAF Leeming - August 2007

Cadets from Aberdeen and North East Scotland spent a week on the RAF Leeming base in Yorkshire.

Windermere Adventure Training Camp - October 2007

36 cadets and members of staff spent a week at the National Air Cadets Adventure Training Centre in Windermere, Cumbria.

The activities during the week included hill walking to the Old Man of Coniston and Scaffel Pike, climbing and abseiling, mountain biking, canoeing and scrambling.

Fg Off Greig and CI Massie made a fantastic job of organising the menu and catering to feed the hungry mouths each day.

Even allowing for all the cooking and housekeeping chores we managed some free time for shopping in Ambleside and Kendal and a trip to the cinema.
